Spinach Artichoke Dip Recipe Ingredients

This is one of those recipes that everyone loves and will request you bring it to parties. So, these are the ingredients you’ll need to make spinach artichoke dip:

  • 8 oz. of cream cheese, well softened
  • 1/4 cup of sour cream
  • 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
  • 1 garlic clove, minced (1 tsp)
  • 2/3 cup of finely shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup of finely shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 (14 oz) can quartered artichoke hearts, can liquid drained, squeeze artichokes to drain excess liquid, chopped
  • 6 oz. frozen spinach, thawed, squeezed to drain excess liquid

Spinach Artichoke Dip Cooking Instructions

Spinach artichoke dip is found on almost every restaurant menu. But you can make them at your home by following these instructions:

Step1: Prepare the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 1-quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Lightly grease the baking dish.

Step 2: Make the Mixture

Put cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, and garlic in a bowl. Mix them until combined and smooth. Then, add the spinach to the cream cheese mixture, breaking it up as you add it. Next, Add the artichokes, mozzarella, and 1/2 cup of Parmesan, mixing to combine. Now, season with salt and pepper, transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish, and top with the remaining 1/4 cup Parmesan.

Step 3: Baking & Serving

You can bake it until the dip bubbles, 20 to 25 minutes. Then, turn the oven to broil and continue to cook, keeping an eye on it, so it doesn’t burn, until the top is golden brown, about 5 minutes. Finally, serve it warmly with crackers, chips, or toasted bread.
